Procurement of Equipment and Software for HILS Laboratory

TIH Foundation for IoT and IoE invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified vendors for the procurement, supply, installation, integration, testing, commissioning, and support of equipment and software required for establishing and operationalizing a Hardware-in-the-Loop Simulation (HILS) Laboratory at TIH, IIT Bombay Campus, Powai, Mumbai.The proposed HILS Laboratory will provide an advanced environment for research, development, testing, validation, and demonstration of real-time embedded systems, control systems, automotive and industrial applications, IoT/IoE solutions, and intelligent engineering systems. The laboratory is intended to support researchers, students, technology developers, startups, and industry partners in developing and validating hardware and software solutions under controlled and repeatable operating conditions.The scope of procurement shall include the supply of required HILS equipment, real-time simulation platforms, interface and communication modules, data acquisition and measurement systems, signal conditioning equipment, controller interfaces, development and testing hardware, computing systems, accessories, cables, connectors, and other associated laboratory equipment as specified in the applicable technical specifications.The successful bidder shall also provide all required software, licenses, drivers, development tools, simulation environments, configuration utilities, and supporting software components necessary for the proper operation and integration of the supplied HILS system. All software shall be compatible with the proposed hardware and shall support the required simulation, monitoring, testing, data acquisition, analysis, and system development activities.The scope shall include complete transportation and delivery of the equipment to the designated TIH facility at IIT Bombay. The bidder shall be responsible for installation, system integration, configuration, calibration, testing, commissioning, and demonstration of the complete laboratory setup. All supplied equipment shall be tested individually and as an integrated system to verify compliance with the specified technical and functional requirements.The bidder shall provide necessary user manuals, technical documentation, installation guides, software documentation, configuration details, warranty information, and other relevant documents along with the supplied equipment. The bidder shall also provide appropriate training to designated TIH personnel covering system operation, software usage, basic troubleshooting, maintenance, and laboratory safety procedures.The complete solution shall be supplied as an integrated and functional system. Any components, accessories, interfaces, licenses, or supporting items required for proper operation but not explicitly listed shall also be identified and included by the bidder as part of the proposed solution, wherever applicable.The selected bidder shall provide post-installation technical support and warranty services for the supplied equipment and software in accordance with the tender requirements. The bidder shall ensure timely resolution of technical issues and support TIH during the implementation and initial operational phase.The procurement shall be executed in accordance with the applicable tender conditions, technical specifications, procurement guidelines, and instructions issued by TIH. The final objective is to establish a reliable, scalable, and fully operational HILS Laboratory capable of supporting advanced research, experimentation, prototyping, validation, and technology development activities.
